On the play immediately after the Detroit Lions had a third-and-5 conversion nullified by a timeout in Sunday's tie against the Arizona Cardinals, the Lions ran four vertical routes against a zero blitz defense.

Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said he got the defense he expected from the Cardinals in that situation, with the Lions up by eight points and needing a conversion to clinch the game.
