Eric Ebron made good progress this week rejoining practice just nine days after injuring his knee in Seattle Oct. 5, but that progress wasn’t enough for the Lions to feel good about their second-year tight end playing vs. Chicago on Sunday.
Ebron has been ruled out for Sunday's 1 p.m. kickoff at Ford Field. As was the case last week, expect Brandon Pettigrew and Tim Wright to fill the void at tight end.
The Lions have also ruled out defensive tackle Haloti Ngata for a second straight week. Ngata missed all three days of practice this week after injuring his calf in Seattle two weeks ago.
