It’s win or go home for the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders, as the NFL playoffs kick off the Divisional Round of the playoffs on Saturday.
For the one-seeded Lions, this is just one step in the goal they’ve had all season: win the Super Bowl. After getting bounced in the Conference Championship last year, winning it all has been the only acceptable goal for the 2024 season. Thus far, they’ve accomplished everything they’ve wanted to: winning the division for the second straight season, earning the NFC’s top seed, and getting a first-round bye.
