No one wanted to see Matthew Stafford get hurt, especially not Jeff Driskel.

He said Stafford has been "a great teammate, great guy" in the two months they've worked together, and he credited Stafford for helping him become a better quarterback.

But with Stafford potentially out for a second straight game Sunday with a back injury, Driskel, a career backup, has the opportunity he has long been waiting for.
