The Detroit Lions have a decision to make about Matt Patricia's future. And one NFL owner might have the right logic. Filmed Dec. 4, 2019. Dave Birkett and Carlos Monarrez, Detroit Free Press
The first time Chris Lacy went back to return kicks, in a November practice days before the Detroit Lions’ first game against the Chicago Bears, he got the green light every return man lives for: Bring the ball out, no matter how deep.
Lacy was emulating Cordarrelle Patterson, arguably the most dangerous returner in the NFL, on the Lions’ scout team that day, and did a good enough job that his coaches and teammates took notice.
