If there’s one thing 47 preseason snaps proved about T.J. Hockenson, it’s that the Detroit Lions rookie tight end is certainly a versatile chess piece.
It’s hard to surmise much from the bland-as-vanilla offensive schemes NFL teams roll out for exhibition games. But offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell is willing to put Hockenson in various formations and give him several responsibilities.
