NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Detroit Lions were crushed by the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, 46-25.
No surprise there. Lions’ games stopped mattering weeks ago, although this loss did officially knock them out of the playoffs.
So what did we learn?
Even though they lost as expected, even though the Lions’ injury-depleted defense was horrible, there were several offensive performances that should be encouraging for the future.
Because the Lions have some pieces to rebuild around. Not many, which is a problem. But there are some things to work with.
Of course, the first step for the Lions' new general will be to blow up the defense.
