MOBILE, Ala. — Jim Nagy found himself reaching for his phone when he first heard that Buffalo quarterback Tyree Jackson was leaving school early for the NFL draft.
The Senior Bowl already had eight quarterbacks committed to its game, one who's since pulled out because of an injury, but Nagy, the game’s executive director, thought Jackson was a good enough prospect that he warranted an invite if there were enough practice reps to go around.
