Golden Tate up, Calvin Johnson down in Lions' loss

ST. LOUIS – A look at Detroit Lions players who were “up” and those who were “down” in Sunday’s 21-14 loss to the St. Louis Rams.

UP

WR Golden Tate: He had a season-high nine catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns. It was one of Tate's better overall games of the season – and something the Lions needed because they were unable to get Calvin Johnson involved in the offense in any reasonable fashion.

P Sam Martin: He got a lot of work Sunday – seven punts – and averaged 46 yards gross and 41 yards net punting.
