Golden Tate: I once thought Kenny Golladay 'is not very good,' but now he's 'thriving'

Golden Tate was honest — brutally honest — about what he thought of fellow receiver Kenny Golladay shortly after the Detroit Lions drafted him in the third-round from Northern Illinois in 2017.

“When he first got there, I was like, ‘This dude is not very good,’ ” Tate said Sunday after Golladay had two touchdown catches and 123 yards receiving in the Lions’ 31-26 win over Tate’s New York Giants.
