Glover Quin clears protocol after 'scary' concussion suffered against the Saints

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- In Week 6, Glover Quin was laid out on the ground after taking a knee to the head from teammate A'Shawn Robinson. The Lions safety wasn’t moving and was on the turf for several minutes. After coming out of the game, he was evaluated for a concussion. Now, almost two weeks after the hit, Quin has cleared the league’s concussion protocol.

“It was scary,” Quin said Thursday of the hit and its aftermath. “Just to be honest with you, it was scary, you know? Playing football for a long time and never had a play like that one.
