After a terrible stretch under Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia, the Detroit Lions needed to hit reset. They did that this offseason by bringing in a new general manager, a new head coach, and even a new quarterback. While it remains to be seen whether those changes will work or not, changes needed to be made somewhere.
Sometimes the only way to move forward is to recognize that there is not much good in the past, and even though many of the players on the roster are returning, the general feel of the team is now much different.
