It’s been a wild week for the Seattle Seahawks. First, they traded Pro Bowl defensive end Michael Bennett and a seventh-round pick to the Super Bowl champion Eagles for just a fifth-round pick and receiver Marcus Johnson. Then it appeared that cornerback Richard Sherman had texted teammates that he was leaving the Seahawks in some capacity. All the while, key players like Cliff Avril and Kam Chancellor may be dealing with career-ending injuries.
For a minute, however, it looked like at least Sherman could be salvaged.
