The Detroit Lions were downed by the Browns on Thursday night after yet another uninspiring performance. Of course, all of the team’s starters sat for Detroit, leaving head coach Matt Patricia with a chance to evaluate some of his roster bubble players just a couple days before he and general manager Bob Quinn must make some tough cuts.
And the result was a pretty horrible performance. The Lions were down 25-0 at halftime and though it got a little better in the second half, it was still a pretty embarrassing performance. Combine it with the first three games in the Lions preseason, and it doesn’t exactly paint a pretty picture.
