The Lions are still bargain shopping in free agency and are hosting a veteran wide receiver with return ability on a visit Friday.
Jordan Norwood, who spent the last two years with the Denver Broncos, will be in Allen Park Friday.
Although the Lions signed Marvin Jones last week, they’re still looking to improve the depth behind Jones and Golden Tate. TJ Jones has just 10 career catches, Corey Fuller has been unimpressive thus far and Lance Moore is a free agent.
Norwood is 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds. Denver’s 9News first reported his visit with the Lions, saying he also visited the New York Jets on Thursday and could still return to the Broncos.
