With five quarterbacks taken Thursday -- including bookend Heisman Trophy winners -- and a running back at No. 2, there certainly was some glamour to the first night of the NFL draft.
That did not include the Detroit Lions' pick, even though it may be just as effective long term.
The Lions grabbed Arkansas center Frank Ragnow with the 20th overall pick, ideally solidifying their offensive line. Draft analysts liked the pick for the Detroit, even if it wasn't "sexy."
