Former Lions TE Joseph Fauria tells Alex Marvez of the Sporting News that he’s attempting a comeback after sitting out the 2016 season.
“I’m trying my best,” said Fauria. “Last year didn’t go as planned. I didn’t get any tryouts, but I have my head on straight now. I’m in good shape. I’m ready to go. I just want one more chance.”
Fauria, 27, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2013. He spent over two years with the Lions before he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season.
