Former Lions GM Martin Mayhew gaining interest from other teams

Martin Mayhew has been out of a job for a little more than two months. The former Detroit Lions general manager isn't shying away from staying in the NFL, though.

Mayhew interviewed for the Tennessee Titans' general manager job earlier this month. On Saturday, he's scheduled to interview for a position in the Cleveland Browns' front office, according to ESPN Insider Josina Anderson. It's not clear exactly what role Mayhew is interviewing for with the Browns.

I'm told the #Browns are set to interview former #Lions GM Martin Mayhew on Saturday

If Mayhew were to land a general manager job, he would be the first Lions GM since Dutch Clark in 1939 to land a GM job with another organization after leaving the Lions.
