Former Detroit Lions cornerback Jerry Jacobs is getting more attention in the latest wave of NFL free agency. After visiting with the Jacksonville Jaguars shortly after the draft, Jacobs is reportedly scheduled to now visit with both the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Jacobs, originally an undrafted prospect out of Arkansas, spent the last three seasons battling for a role with the Lions. An inspirational story of perseverance, Jacobs would end up not only making the Lions 53-man roster in his rookie season but starting nine games for Detroit.
