The last time the Detroit Lions bolstered a running back in their backfield to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season was 2013. And that player was Reggie Bush. The now 32-year old former Motor City rusher has announced his intentions to retire from the NFL after this season.

The second overall selection in the 2006 NFL Draft out of USC played for the Lions from 2013 through 2014. In those two seasons, Bush racked up 1,303 rushing yards and six scores in 25 total games. He also had 94 receptions for 759 yards and three scores in that same span.
