The Detroit Lions made a surprising move last week when they elected to waive wide receiver Travis Fulgham in their cut down to an 80-man roster. Fulgham quickly landed with the Green Bay Packers, with a real chance to make the roster on the team’s weak receiving corps. Unfortunately, he was cut by the Packers Wednesday, making his services available once again.
Fulgham was selected by the Lions in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL draft. He made a name for himself as the first ever Old Dominion offensive player to be drafted — and the second ever at any position for the Monarchs.
