K'Waun Williams is looking for a fresh start after a rocky 2016 season, and he just might find one with the Detroit Lions.
Williams is making a free agent visit to the Lions today, according to the NFL Network, after he sat out all of last season following ankle surgery.
Williams started parts of the 2014-15 seasons at nickel cornerback for the Browns but was suspended last summer, over a dispute about his ankle. According to cleveland.com, Williams declined to play in last year's exhibition opener either because of an ankle injury that lingered from the spring or his intentions to retire.
