For new Detroit Lions LB Paul Worrilow, dad duties come first

It’s already been a whirlwind of a year for Paul Worrilow.

The fifth-year linebacker, in his first season with the Detroit Lions, barely had a chance to catch his breath since his 2016 season ended with a Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots.

In the past four months, Worrilow has changed teams in free agency, moved his family back home to his native Delaware, welcomed his second daughter into the world and spent most of his down time learning a new defense.

But now, with six weeks off before veterans report for training camp in late July, Worrilow is back with his family and on Father’s Day focused on the one thing he’s always wanted most: Being a dad.
