Allen Park — From December 2000 to November 2013, the Lions were just 3-23 against the Green Bay Packers, but suddenly, they’ve won three of four in the lopsided divisional matchup.
And it’s hardly a secret formula.
“It’s going to sound so cliché, and it’s weird because Aaron Rodgers is a quarterback,” said Lions safety Glover Quin, who’s 2-1 against the Packers with Detroit. “But I would say the two games where we slowed Aaron Rodgers down, if you could say we slowed Aaron Rodgers down, we also slowed their running game down.”
The recent success streak against the Packers started in November 2013 with the Lions winning a 40-10 blowout with Green Bay starting Matt Flynn at quarterback.
