After he's done with what he hopes is a long NFL career, Laken Tomlinson has aspirations to be a neurosurgeon. During college he'd go from football practice to shadowing neursurgeons during rounds at Duke University Hospital.
“When my football career is over, and I don’t think that is anytime soon, I want go to medical school," Tomlinson said. "My end goal would be to be a neurosurgeon. That is my interest right now.”
2. Takes his education seriously One degree wasn't enough for Tomlinson, who left Duke with a pair of bachelor's degrees.
