Kerryon Johnson set career highs for rushing attempts each of the past two weeks, and although Detroit Lions coach Matt Patricia insists Johnson’s increased workload has had more to do with game situations than a shift in offensive philosophies, the second-year running back's increased role might be here to stay.

“I think it was really just product of the game, to be honest with you,” Patricia said.
