The worries NFL coaches and front office personnel had about doing this year's draft virtually turned out to be mostly unfounded. Better yet, some saw a silver lining in the three-day event that might make them reevaluate best business practices going forward.
Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn offered a personal and thoughtful commentary on what he learned from this year's one-of-a-kind draft process, saying in his post-draft video conference Saturday he encouraged his staff to bring him suggestions for how to make permanent improvements to their work-life balance.
