FILM REVIEW: Gurley gets loose

Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley had his way with the Lions defense in the second half of Sunday’s 21-14 win over Detroit.

After being limited to just 13 yards in the first half, Gurley exploded for 127 yards and two touchdowns in the second half, including runs of 49, 25 and 21 yards. Those were just three of the five explosive plays of 20-plus yards for St. Louis on the day.

The Lions, by the way, had zero such plays in the game.
