Could the Detroit Lions have some drama unfolding in the linebacker corps?
It looked like it at one point today when Tahir Whitehead, the team’s veteran starter at middle linebacker, was out of reporters' view during organized team activities.
But it turns out that Whitehead was "working out on the side," according to a Lions spokesman.
Whitehead lost his job at middle linebacker to Jarrad Davis, the Lions’ first-round draft pick this year who took first-team snaps today alongside Paul Worrilow and Brandon Copeland.
