The general manager search around the NFL is starting to come into focus. After the Denver Broncos hired former Vikings assistant general manager George Paton on Wednesday, it appears the Atlanta Falcons may be narrowing in on their choice, as well. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, current Saints VP/assistant general manager of pro personnel Terry Fontenot is considered the favorite for the job now.
“They won’t do a deal until New Orleans is out of the playoffs, but signs point to him being the choice,” Rapoport tweeted on Thursday morning.
