After missing most of the 2014 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, former Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch can empathize with what DeAndre Levy has gone through in missing significant time with injuries the past two years.
“I feel for him,” Tulloch, now with the Philadelphia Eagles, said in a conference call with Detroit reporters Wednesday. “To get that big contract, and I know he wants to be out there and prove his worth, but you can’t stop the injury bug. It is what it is.”

Levy has missed three straight games with a quadriceps injury and is not expected to play Sunday against the Eagles at Ford Field.
