Former Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew was arrested in Oklahoma City during the weekend on public drunkenness and disorderly complaints, NewsOK
reported.
Pettigrew, who was waived in December after playing seven seasons in Detroit, was arrested in the city's Bricktown entertainment district at 2 a.m. Sunday where he was seen arguing and pushing two men outside a bar, police said.
Police said Pettigrew was "verbally defiant" to at least 25 commands to leave the area. Pettigrew, who described as having slurred speech and smelling of alcohol, also initially refused to get into the backseat of a patrol car, police said.
