INDIANAPOLIS — After a year’s hiatus, Jim Caldwell is back at the NFL combine this week in his new role as Miami Dolphins quarterbacks coach and assistant head coach.
Caldwell, who spent last season out of football, politely declined an interview request Thursday, but first-year Dolphins coach Brian Flores said the former Detroit Lions head coach has been “a great resource” during his first few weeks on the job.
“He’s definitely been a sounding board,” Flores said Wednesday.
