A former Detroit Lions cornerback, waived by the team over the weekend, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on four charges in connection with an accident that seriously injured his teammate.
Wayne County prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Alex Brown with two counts of operating while under the influence causing serious injury and two counts of reckless driving causing serious injury on Monday. Brown is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday
Brown was arrested around 2:13 a.m. Sunday after a crash on southbound I-75 near I-375 in Detroit after he allegedly struck a 27-year-old Detroit man's car head on, causing injury to his legs.
