NASHVILLE, Tenn. – When the 2019 NFL draft kicks off Thursday night in downtown Nashville, all eyes will be on the quarterbacks.

Not just Kyler Murray, who remains shrouded in mystery as the potential No. 1 overall pick, but – for Detroit Lions fans, at least – on Daniel Jones and Dwayne Haskins, too.

The Lions have the eighth pick in the first round, their highest selection since they took Ziggy Ansah with the fifth pick of the 2013 draft, and while they’re not expected to draft Jones or Haskins or any other quarterback early, they stand to benefit if one of those players joins Murray in becoming a top-seven selection.
