DT C.J. Wilson sheds light on interim GM Sheldon White's all-business management style

ALLEN PARK -- Under normal circumstance, the addition of defensive lineman C.J. Wilson wouldn't be all that interesting. He would just be one of the many midseason transactions attempting to bolster the bottom of the roster or provide depth where injuries have depleted a position group.

The addition of Wilson, claimed off waivers on Monday, is all of that. But it also represents something more. The acquisition marks the first roster move made by Sheldon White, a fact the interim general manager mentioned four times during his Thursday press conference.

"I'm hoping that this guy comes in and plays well," White said.
