ALLEN PARK -- Ezekiel Ansah was thrilled to be drafted fifth overall by the Detroit Lions in 2013. But rookie minicamp? That was a whole other story.
"I didn't like it," he said with a smirk.
Why not?
"You know Kris," he said. "Kris Kocurek."
That, we do.
The Lions' defensive line coach is excellent at what he does. Just look at George Johnson, who racked up six sacks in his lone season in Detroit. (He has zero in his other six seasons combined.) Or Kerry Hyder, an NFL journeyman who exploded for eight sacks last year.
