With the first few waves of free agency beyond us now, all that is mostly remaining are minor depth signings for each team. Sure, there are still some big names like Von Miller, Calais Campbell, Teven Jenkins, and Charles Omenihu out there, but most moves made from here on out will address each team’s depth.
For the Detroit Lions, that often means re-signing their own players at this point in free agency. We’ve seen that general manager Brad Holmes often lets his own players seek the best deals they can find in free agency, and then allow the player to come back to Detroit if they don’t find the market value they’re looking for.
