The Detroit Lions have had a poor stretch of games after a hot start, and a big reason for their struggles is their inability to overcome injuries. Early in the season, the Lions suffered some pretty significant injuries on defense when C.J. Gardner-Johnson and James Houston were forced to miss most of the season. Despite that, they still found a way to win in convincing fashion with the offense dominating and the defense overachieving.
But in the last four games, a lot has changed. The offense has been turning the ball over at an alarming rate, and Jared Goff does not look like the MVP candidate that he once was.
