Before the start of today’s practice, the Detroit Lions announced some news that should put some fans at ease. Linebacker Devon Kennard, one of Detroit’s free agent signings aimed at reshaping the defense, is returning from the non-football injury list (NFI) and will practice with the team on Wednesday.
In addition, LB Devon Kennard has been removed from Active/Non-Football Injury and will return to practice today.

Back at the beginning of training camp, the Lions placed Kennard on the NFI list because he wasn’t “quite ready to go” according to Lions head coach Matt Patricia.
