Tori Petry, the Detroit Lions’ official multimedia journalist since 2014, announced on Thursday that she is leaving the team, effective immediately. Petry has been an integral part of Lions coverage for the better half of a decade, providing personal looks into players and coaches while also getting informative answers from the most important people in the franchise.
“As I head off to new adventures, I’m not entirely sure what’s next for me,” Petry said in a tearful goodbye video posted to social media. “But what I do know is that I will forever hold the Lions, the city of Detroit, the state of Michigan, and you guys—the fans—close to my heart.
