Last week, the NFL announced that Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had been fined $43,709 for an impermissible use of the helmet/launching during a block he laid in Detroit’s Week 11 game against the Chicago Bears. On the run play, St. Brown immediately attacks the safety, lowering his head ever so slightly before making contact.
