The Detroit Lions worked out former Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise, among six others on Thursday, as first reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Prosise is a wide receiver turned running back that was heralded for his speed and elusiveness coming out of Notre Dame. He is remarkably similar to current rookie running back D’Andre Swift.
The running back was drafted by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft. Unfortunately, injuries hampered him, and he never carried the ball more than 30 times in a single season during his four years in Seattle.
