PHOENIX -- Adrian Peterson is in no rush to sign with a new team. Whenever he does, Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn said the team he goes to will be getting a running back that's still a very good player.
"I think AP definitely has plenty left in the tank," Quinn said at the NFL's annual league meetings today. "So we’ll kind of see how it goes."
Peterson has received only lukewarm interest as a free agent since the Minnesota Vikings declined his contract option March 9, but a handful of reports have painted the Lions as at least mildly curious about the future Hall-of-Famer.
