Detroit Lions Week 8 inactives: Da’Shawn Hand to make 2019 debut vs. Giants

As the team announced on Friday, the Detroit Lions will be missing a couple key players for their Week 8 game against the New York Giants. Cornerback Darius Slay (hamstring) and defensive tackle Mike Daniels (foot) were declared OUT with their respective injury. Slay’s hamstring held him out of practice all week, while Daniels finally returned to practice this week, but still appears a week or two away.

On the positive side, defensive tackle Da’Shawn Hand will make his 2019 debut on Sunday, as he is active after missing the first six games with an elbow injury.
