For the Detroit Lions, none of their inactives come as much of a surprise, the Lions had already declared six players out by Friday: quarterback Matthew Stafford, center Frank Ragnow, defensive tackle Da’Shawn Hand, defensive end Trey Flowers, safety Tracy Walker and punt returner Jamal Agnew.
That left just one more spot on the inactive list to fill. The good news is that starting tight end T.J. Hockenson is ACTIVE despite being a late addition to the injury report. However, Rashaan Melvin is inactive, meaning all seven of Detroit’s inactive spots are filled with injured contributors.
