Detroit Lions waive/injured DB Morice Norris, sign another CB

The injury bug continues to plague the Detroit Lions’ secondary. After missing a couple of practices with a hamstring injury, defensive back Morice Norris has been waived with an injury designation. In response to the injuries, the team also announced on Wednesday that they have signed cornerback Javelin Guidry.

Right now, the Lions are very shorthanded in the defensive backfield. Last week, they lost Emmanuel Moseley for an extended period of time due to a torn pectoral. During Monday’s practice, both Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw left practice with an injury (although, it seems they’ve avoided major injury).
