With three-fifths of their starting secondary questionable to play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, the Detroit Lions are making a roster move to add depth at the position.
The Lions are waiving tight end Hakeem Valles, and are expected to sign a defensive back from their practice squad.
Valles made the 53-man roster last month with a strong training camp and has two catches for 11 yards in three games this year.
