It’s preseason Week 2! And while that doesn’t carry the excitement of Week 1, and it’s nowhere near the thrill of the regular season, it does represent one game closer to opening weekend.
This week the Detroit Lions take on the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. It’s a bit of an overstatement to say that the Chiefs are looking for revenge for last year’s season opener, but they’ll certainly have a heavy advantage early in the game. They intend on playing their starters, while the Lions are resting most of theirs.
