The Detroit Lions were favored by their largest margin all season, but were tied or behind against the Browns for far too much of this contest. The Browns were a winless team coming into this game and should have been rolled over easily, but the run defense of Teryl Austin was putrid for nearly the entire game and the offense struggled at times to move the ball or keep to what was working.
